About The Event
Please join us for a morning of reflection as we prepare ourselves for Lent. In this retreat for those involved in the Music Ministry, Br. Jacek will offer a reflection on our individual and communal conversion toward beauty. Drawing on the insights from his Franciscan Tradition, Br. Jacek will offer a path of integration between our personal lives and ministry and the Church’s call to ecological conversion. This retreat is a great opportunity to grow spiritually and, as a person who revels in the beauty of God’s gift of music, to re-discover a deeper purpose in your life.
Br. Jacek Orzechowski, OFM is an ordained Franciscan friar currently serving in Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington. Prior to that, he ministered at St. Camillus Parish in Silver Spring, MD where he was heavily involved in the ministry of justice, peace and the integrity of creation.
February 22, 2020 - 9:30am-12:30pm. Check-in and coffee service begins at 9am.
Fee: Members -$10, Non-members* - $20
